Vyvern and Forvis Mazars are collaborating to bring autonomous social engineering defense to Forvis Mazars' enterprise clients. Under the arrangement, professionals at Forvis Mazars can deploy Vyvern's AI-powered simulation platform with client organizations, including clients for which the cybersecurity practice provides virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) support.

Social engineering remains one of the most common entry points for a breach, and the tactics have become AI-assisted, multi-channel, and highly personalized. Mid-market organizations face the same threat as large enterprises but rarely have an in-house red team to test against it. The collaboration closes that gap by putting continuous, authorized human-layer testing in the hands of the advisors these companies already trust.

What the collaboration covers

The arrangement spans co-marketing and platform use. The cybersecurity practice at Forvis Mazars supports hundreds of client organizations and may run Vyvern's simulations directly for clients, folding realistic social engineering testing into broader cybersecurity programs. For organizations where Forvis Mazars serves as vCISO, human-risk testing can become a standing part of the security function rather than a once-a-year exercise.

The Vyvern services Forvis Mazars delivers

Through the platform, cybersecurity professionals from Forvis Mazars can run the full lifecycle of a human-layer engagement — reconnaissance, execution, measurement, and remediation — without requiring an in-house red team:

  • Autonomous, multi-channel simulations. AI agents run realistic phishing (email), smishing (SMS), vishing (voice), and social-media approaches that mirror how modern attackers actually operate, rather than static, templated tests.
  • Reconnaissance and target prioritization. The platform assembles each engagement from publicly available information, indexing employees' real-world digital exposure to surface who is most susceptible and to craft pretexts specific to their role, seniority, and public footprint.
  • Configurable attacker personas. Teams select the adversary profile and methodology behind each campaign, tuning sophistication and approach to match the threats a given client may encounter.
  • Approval-gated execution. Each engagement is scoped and authorized before it runs, giving security leaders control over targets, timing, channels, and scope, with a detailed audit trail.
  • Failure replay and targeted remediation. When someone falls for a simulation, Vyvern reconstructs the decision points and routes that person into training matched to the attack they experienced.
  • Risk scoring, analytics, and compliance evidence. Outcomes become measurable human-risk signals — by person, department, role, and channel — that Forvis Mazars can report to client leadership and fold into its vCISO deliverables.

What it means for clients

Instead of static, compliance-driven awareness training, clients can experience campaigns that mirror how attackers operate — across email, social media, SMS, and voice. Each engagement is approval-gated, giving security leaders control over targets, timing, and scope. Vyvern turns the outcomes into measurable risk signals and routes each person into training matched to the attack they experienced, so the program sharpens with each campaign.

Attackers start with people. This collaboration lets Forvis Mazars give their clients the same caliber of human-layer testing that once only the largest enterprises could run — continuously, and at scale.
